Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

This is a place for the things I'm interested in, the things I'm learning, and the things I'm making.

PERSONAL LOG: Hi! I'm Dylan, I'm a freshmen at Oklahoma State University majoring in Computer Engineering. I'm also a member of the Cowboy Marching Band. My hobbies include reading, listening to and creating music, playing games, and spending time outdoors camping and fishing. I'm also a big beliver in digital minimalism and trying to spend less time on my phone, but I'll go into more details about that in the other tabs. Finally, I'm a devoted Christian, my belief might not be very traditional but it's mine and I'd love to talk about it with anybody who's intrested.

Reading

Books I'm currently reading, books I've finished, and things that have stuck with me.

I love reading, but admitedly I'm still a broke college student and I can't possibly afford every book I want to read. So for a long time I would buy Amazon ebooks and read them on an old kindle becasue that was cheaper them buying the physical copies. But then, in a move of ultimate greed, Amazon hit the killswitch on their old devices and killed my almost 18-year-old device. At first I was frustrated but this actually became one of the best things to ever happen to me. I bought a XTEink x4 ereader and now I pirate any book I want and read them on a device that fits in my pocket. This really helped curb my doomscrolling habit and got me back into reading. Below is a list of what I'm currently reading and books I've read since buying the device early in the summer of 2026.
